Pantai Nyanyi (Nyanyi Beach)
Pantai Nyanyi (Nyanyi Beach, Bali) – Sometimes you may be bored to visit a crowded beach and want to enjoy the silence and serenity and away from the bustle of the bustling city and away from the center of the crowd. Nyanyi Beach is far from the center of the crowd as well as the houses of fishermen and surrounding residents, only a few buildings such as stalls continue to grow as more tourists visit Nyanyi Beach Tabanan. The beach atmosphere that offers calm and peaceful nature and privacy is ideal for those who need a place to relax and refresh.
Nyanyi Beach is probably the beach on the coast between Kuta and Tanah Lot with the fewest people. Even though the location is quite isolated and far from where most tourists go, it is close to Tanah Lot.
If we drive on the road between Seminyak and Tanah Lot, we will come to some intersections that lead to the beach. On average, there are several beaches where people like to surf and watch the sunset. You can call it Berawa, Canggu, Echo Beach, or Mengening, among other names. Even though these beaches aren’t as busy as Kuta or Seminyak, they still get quite a few tourists. During the day, foreign tourists come to soak up the sun or surf the waves, and at night, local tourists come to watch the beautiful sunset.
On the way to Tanah Lot, there is another beach that few tourists visit. The beach is quite far from the nearest village. Even though there aren’t many fishermen on this beach, there are only a few boats, and even those sit there during the day while their owners relax after a long night of fishing. At the end of the road, there is only one small shop, which isn’t always open. So, Nyanyi Beach is a great place for people who like to be alone and want to enjoy the beach’s atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery without being bothered by the noise of other tourists.

Even though it is still on the same coast as Kuta Beach, Canggu, and other places, Pantai Nyanyi has dark black sand with grains that sparkle in the sun, like Tanah Lot. These glittering granules are just salt grains in seawater, like on any other beach. It’s just that when the sand on a beach is light, you can’t see the sparkle, while a dark beach is a perfect place for the flash to show up.
Two roads lead to Nyanyi Beach. Both of them end at the beach. Both of these roads start at Jalan Raya Canggu – Tanah Lot. The place where you can get in is not too far away. But at the water’s edge, these two roads end in a strip of sand separated by the mouth of a river. During the dry season, the estuary is about the height of an adult’s thigh, and the water is not too heavy. But during the rainy season, it is hard to get across the mouth of this river. You must go around the highway, which is a long way if you want to move.
South of Pantai Nyanyi is Mengening Beach, which has a temple called Pura Gede Luhur Batu Ngaus built on a rock. It’s impossible to get there by walking along the coast because a big river mouth is in the way. The Tanah Lot Temple, which is to the north, is also a temple built on a rock. It is also cut off from the beach by a steep group of stones, so you can’t get there by walking along the coast.
